Final April Friday

The night began as so many last Friday’s do, at the Academy for Art after Dark. Anne from 39 Hotel was performing so we peeped them out and then did the usual snarky junk as we walked around.

Rolled to 39 Hotel for el Clap del Soul (not sol). Kicked it with the world champion homie Solution. Super Handsome Sound!!!! (Yo thanks for peeping the mixes dude, means a lot coming from a hella talented DJ!)

The 57 was in effect. Shit was giving me stress.

They did not disappoint. For sure in the top 5 DJ sets I’ve ever seen. Totally flawless mixing, but their control over the soundsystem was really what stood out. There were a few glowsticks and a “Junglist” shirt there. That was painful. Honestly, I don’t remember all that much.
