Just wanted to point out a comment on the Spankrock post:

are you kidding me? spankrock’s album is straight up horrible. 95 south kicks better raps than this dude, and the production sounds like it was made by someone who’s tone deaf.

but yet everyone is hyping this shit up because it’s “cool.”

So yeah. A LOT of folks HATE the spankrock album. I can see why, “cool disco MC spank rock” aint coming with mindblowing raps, but it’s dumb fun/funny, and works with the beats.

I can’t hate people for hating spankrock, but the fact of the matter is: I REALLY like it. I have to disagree with the “tone deaf” assesment. Musically, shit is actually really tight. Plus ridiculous 808s all around. I personally don’t know many folks (in real life) who are hyping it up. It’s just more of that internerdarati riding for him and for internerds, that makes it seem like the whole world.

addendum:the music is just real fun to mix/mess around with.
