yo, mad shit is being stolen around berkeley. Tons of graduate student info was jeopardized when a laptop was stolen off of our main plaza, and recently, a molecular and cell biology professor had his shit ganked, presumably because someone wanted the test.
Problem is, the prof is on some serious shit and had a grip of proprietary info on there. (i wonder why he didnt have ummmm…PASSWORDS? and why was dude on windows in the first place?)
Anyway, the most entertaining aspect of all this is that the lecture where he makes a final offer to the student who stole it to come forward and somewhat mitigate the hell that is about to befall him was webcast and is now available online to view.
